In a Jersey Evening Post article dated 14 October 2022, Deputy Kirsten Morel was reported to say that an interim director at Jersey Opera House was likely to be appointed later this year. He also noted that a report into the future use of the Opera House had been published, with options that would be considered over time.
Given the current uncertainty surrounding the future of the relationship of the Jersey Opera House Company Limited with government, as well as the extensive £11.7 million maintenance programme for Jersey Opera House (a government asset) which it is planned that the government will fund, could you tell me please:
A
Will the interim director at Jersey Opera House be appointed by the Government of Jersey or by the Jersey Opera House Company Limited?
B
Where has / will the post be advertised?
C
Could I please have a copy of the job description for the interim director at Jersey Opera House?
Response
A
Jersey Opera House Company Limited.
