Request
With regard to the latest news about 56 units of key-worker accommodation being made available at Westaway Court, followed by a further 56 units at Le Marais in the coming months, I would like to know what rental will be charged to Key Workers for these Units and whether they will follow the 80% market rates currently charged to all other residents of Social Housing?
Response
No rental rates have been agreed for new units at this time. As such, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
Rental rates are agreed between the department and the occupier based on several factors. There is currently a project underway to consider eligibility to units and the rates to be paid across the organisation.
