The States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service (SJFRS) regulate under the Fire Precautions (Jersey) Law 1977 and do not regulate in the same manner as the FSO 2005. Inspections are carried out on certificated buildings under the Fire Precautions (Designated Premises) (Jersey) Regulations 2012.
However, in the last six years SJFRS have inspected 13 ‘Tourist Accommodation’ designated premises:
