Please can I see any emails or minutes or other correspondence relating to the decision to take on SignVideo as provider for BSL deaf community in Jersey, including any approval by the Health Minister at that time. Any commercial figures can be redacted out.

It has not been possible to identify documentation explicitly recording the decision to adopt SignVideo. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
The Disability Strategy identified the need for the Government of Jersey to adopt a remote British Sign Language interpreting service.

Staff from both Health and Community Services (HCS) and Customer and Local Services (CLS) were engaged to evaluate potential solutions and brief Ministers. The Minister for Health and Social Services, and the Minister for Social Security both welcomed the introduction of the SignVideo service:
New British Sign Language interpreter service (gov.je)
A single contract provides this service across all Government of Jersey departments. The contract is managed via CLS.
