A

The Jersey Rugby Club (Jersey Reds) does not currently receive any funds from the Government of Jersey.  

B

The Government of Jersey has provided financial support to the Jersey Rugby Club which, since 2012, has covered both the professional team of Jersey Reds and the amateur club, Jersey Rugby Football Club (JRFC).

Details of the amount of money given in grants by the Government of Jersey to the Jersey Rugby Club is available on www.gov.je in response to previous Freedom of Information requests which can be accessed via the links below. Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

The Government of Jersey has not made any loans to the Jersey Rugby Club.

Article 23 - Information accessible to applicant by other means

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.

(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
