Drug service now without a director (jerseyeveningpost.com)
He warned that if he was not replaced "there [would] be a gap in providing expert advice to the States on drug strategy and policy."
Is there any information held on why it was decided not to replace the Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service?
Response
It has not been possible to identify documentation explicitly recording any decision not to replace the Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service on a like-for-like basis. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
The Head of Service for Alcohol and Drugs reports to the Director of Mental Health and Adult Social Care in Health and Community Services’ organisational structure.
