The figures for 2021, after Covid in 2021 have also been provided to provide context.
It should be noted that Active subscriptions dropped significantly due to Covid since many people found alternative ways to exercise during the lockdown periods and were slow to return to indoor activity.
The closure of one of the facilities, along with a number of new entrants to the market over the past couple of years has slowed growth, however the membership continues to recover slowly.
