Response

A

The Crown Officers are the Bailiff, Deputy Bailiff, Attorney General and Solicitor General and their profiles are published under “Non-elected office holders” on the States Assembly website. As the information requested is accessible by other means, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. Please see the following link:

B

Information about their departmental organisation is published on www.gov.je pages for the Bailiff's Chambers and Law Officers' Department. The roles of the Crown Officers were reviewed - Introduction to the review of Crown Officers - and a report delivered to the States Assembly on 6 December 2010. As the information requested is accessible by other means, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. Please see links to the relevant pages below:

C

Currently information is published in various locations, however there is an active project to deliver a website for the courts which will provide relevant information, such as the list of the judiciary, from all the different Court Service departments in one place.

D

For the moment the current list of the judiciary is published on the Jersey Legal Information Board website. Steps have been taken to ensure that this page includes the Jurats. As the information requested is accessible by other means, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. Please see the following link:
