Request
Please provide the figures for the number of Ministerial Decisions that have not been published since 2018, broken down by year?
For example, Ministerial Decisions relating to the issuing of licences for the cultivation of cannabis have not been published since those relating to Jersey Hemp in 2019.
Response
Since 2018 the total number of Ministerial Decisions has been 5,365, of which 3,944 have been published. The total number of non-published Ministerial Decisions is therefore 1,421.
Because of the way that this information is recorded, it is not possible to provide a yearly breakdown of this number as it has been estimated that to undertake this work would exceed the 12.5-hour timescale as prescribed in the Freedom of Information (Costs)(Jersey) Regulations 2014. Articles 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied.
Article applied

(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.
