Supplementary planning guidance for rezoned affordable housing sites was recently adopted following a period of consultation. A response from policy writers within government specifically for Field J1109 rebukes the notion in one of the public responses that the SPG makes unfounded claims within its narrative specifically relating to the requirement for 20-meter buffer zones along the northern and western boundary of Field J1109.
The Policy writer’s response to the consultation stipulates it followed 'Sound Ecological Advice' to come up with the location of the buffer zones and also the distance's suggested. See page 7 of the attached document for evidence of claim.
Please provide all correspondence, letters, emails, or communications relating to this suggested 'sound advice' that was received by government and used to set such drastic requirements. In particular correspondence to and or from [Name Redacted], the Environment Minister, Land Resource Management or third parties.
If a third party [Name Redacted] has offered advice it is imperative the name of this party is confirmed as I believe there to be a huge conflict of interest if this is the case.
