The Minister for External Relations wrote to the UK Justice Minister with responsibility for the Crown Dependency relations on 13th March 2024 to inform him of the decision of the States Assembly taken in the Proposition. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) have also been made aware of the States Assembly decision.

Receipt of the letter was confirmed verbally by officers. There has been no written response at this time.

There has been no further written correspondence since the letter was sent on 13 March 2024.
