Please confirm how many paid sick days per year, permanent contract dentists can take in the dental department?

Response

Paid sick leave entitlement is dependent upon several factors, including pay group, length of service (there are different levels of leave entitlement during the specified probation period and first year of service), and absence history. As such, paid sick leave entitlement per annum is not a definitive figure, as this will be particular to the individual.

Employees are advised of their pay group and respective Terms and Conditions in the contract of employment, which can also be accessed through the staff intranet.​
