How many weeks' annual leave are teachers on MPS (main professional scale) entitled to?

Does this increase with years of service? Please provide breakdown.

A 

Teachers do not have specified annual leave entitlement set out in their contracts; they have days they are required to attend work and there are days of school closure. Compensation for annual leave is included into their overall package (this includes the public holidays).

There is no increase in annual leave entitlement in relation to years of service. 

C

The annual leave for Deputy Headteachers and Headteachers is treated as per the responses to A and B above. ​
