The Government of Jersey does have confidential waste and record destruction call-off contracts. There are three suppliers of confidential waste on island; Government of Jersey Stakeholders do not want confidential waste leaving the island. All three suppliers were in a framework agreement and the framework agreement was refreshed with each supplier during 2023. One supplier is no longer participating in the Contract.

B

Records Storage and Destruction Contract.

C

Whole life contract values for confidential was (and record destruction) for the initial two-year period is up to £100,000 if called off by budget holders.

D

The contracts started in August 2023 with an initial term of two years. They will terminate in August 2025. (Unless extended by agreement).

There is an extension clause for two further years, - until August 2027.
