*Figures for 2024 are to 20 August. Please note that the figures provided relate to recorded crimes. There are a far greater number of incidents reported to the Police and reported cases do not become recorded crimes until it has been established that an offence has taken place. Also, convictions do not necessarily occur in the year the crime took place.
