Request

Regarding the planning application refusal referenced RC/2024/0600, please advise how many times, planning officer [name redacted] has successfully or attempted to remove ‘Permitted development rights’ since the beginning of 2020.  This information would be contained on ‘Decision notice’ of any application they have been involved with.

Response

The planning team within Infrastructure and Environment does not maintain a list of specific officers in relation to ‘Permitted development rights’.  The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 does not require a Scheduled Public Authority to manipulate data in order to provide a response.  Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

However, the information is accessible on www.gov.je within the planning register which will enable collation of the requested information.  Therefore, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

Planning application search (gov.je)

Searches relating to specified periods, e.g. month, can be carried out within the planning register and all applications are marked major or minor.  The register also allows you to view approved and pending cases.
