Please supply the number of people who will be made redundant at the Jersey Conference Bureau following the restructure of Jersey Tourism.

B.

Please supply the total figure for redundancy payments to staff at the Jersey Conference Bureau.

C.

Please supply the number of unfair dismal proceedings instituted at the Jersey Conference Bureau in the last year and their outcomes.

Response

The Jersey Conference Bureau is not at present a scheduled public authority for the purposes of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011. Consequently we can only provide what we, the States of Jersey, hold.

A.

Regrettably, the closure of the Bureau and the underlying company has meant that three people have been made redundant.

B.

The redundancy payments are still in the process of negotiation but will be published in the final accounts of the Bureau. 

C.

There were no unfair dismissal proceedings instituted at the Bureau in the last twelve months.
