It was reported back in April 2024 that drug testing for civil servants was being considered after it emerged that 6% of the island's working population holds a prescription of medicinal cannabis.

I would therefore like to know whether there has been any update with regard to this comment made in the States Chamber.6 months ago?

I would also like to know whether the same consideration has been given with regard to the drug testing for all States Members? And not just for Cannabis but illegal substances such as Cocaine?

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
