Re the Blue Badge Disable Parking Scheme

please say how many badges are currently in issue, and show the position for each year since the scheme was introduced in 1982 or thereabouts

ditto how many badges have been surrendered in each year, distinguishing between death and reduction/removal of disability

how many prosecutions or other regulatory penalties or cautions have there been, by year, for misuse of badges and for misuse of disabled parking bays
4
please confirm that badges are able to be issued only to citizens who are appropriately physically unable to walk save with considerable difficulty, that is to say, persons who seek to claim the same level of difficulty because of non-physical impairment are not eligible
5
and please provide a copy of the instructions issued to doctors who must certify applications

The Parish of St Helier (POSH) administer the blue badge scheme and are responsible for the issue of the blue badges, therefore the requested information is not held by the Government of Jersey, therefore, Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
However, it may be held by POSH so you might wish to send your information request in writing to the details provided at the end of the response.
