Could you please let me know where I could find a list of property sold this year.
Response

We refuse to supply the requested list because it is information which is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under the FOI Law, whether or not free of charge and is therefore absolutely exempt under Article 23. Please see further explanation below along with details of where such a list is available.
FOI exemption(s) applied:
Article 23 Information accessible to applicant by other means
(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
Justification for exemption and refusal to supply information
The creation of such a list is only possible by collating all the property transactions registered in the Public Registry for the year. We do not maintain such a list, however it is available to the applicant from services provided by Bought and Sold in Jersey and the Jersey Evening Post Confidential supplement.
