Sorry to trouble you, I am enquiring about a special 12 coin set of £1 coins depicting the Emblems for all Jersey Parishes that was issued with red presentation folders by the Jersey treasury from 1983 to 1989. Each presentation folder contained a card with information on the emblem and parish and details about the series being issued. My problem is that I cannot locate a copy of the information card for the first coin issued in the series which was St Helier in 1983. I have attached an examples for one of the parishes so you can see what I am referring to. Can you help me please?

Response

After investigation it has been concluded that information regarding what would have been included on the original 1983 St Helier coin presentation card is not held by the Government of Jersey

Heritage records on historic coin issuances have also been reviewed, but it has not been possible to locate a copy of the original presentation cases.

Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied.
