​Does any member of the government have any financial interest, directly or indirectly, (including family members past and present) from the importation of the PFAS chemicals being found on our potatoes and if so have they declared it on politician declaration form? If not why not?

Response

The requirements of Members to register their interests are set out in Schedule 2, Register of Interests of Elected Members of the Standing Orders of the States of Jersey. 

If a Member holds an interest that does not reach the criteria set out within these requirements, they would not be obligated to make any declaration. 

The declarations made by Members under Standing Orders are all published on the States Assembly website and can be accessed within each Members’ profile –
