The Health and Care Jersey Advisory Board Report stated that there were 184 leavers with a breakdown. This included 31 involuntary leavers. My questions relate to the 31 Involuntary leavers.

Question 1

How many of the involuntary leavers signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement or Compromise agreement with a NDA clause?

Question 2

How much money was paid in the form of compensation in total to the 31 involuntary leavers?

Question 3

What was the highest 3 payments in Question 2 above?

Response

One of the categories for Involuntary leavers is defined as any end of a fixed term contract. The below was the end of fixed term contracts which requires a redundancy payment if employed for over 2 years.

Question 1

< 5 people left

Question 2

Total amount paid was less than £10,000.

Question 3

Total amount paid was less than £10,000

In Question 1, where numbers are small, disclosure control has been applied to protect the privacy of individuals, with numbers fewer than five represented as ‘<5’. Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

Article applied:

Article 25 - Personal information

(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and

(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
