A consultative body, created by the Employment (Jersey) Law 2003, whose duties include consulting on the rate of the minimum wage and other employment related issues as directed by the Minister for Social Security.

The Fiscal Policy Panel was established to provide Jersey's Treasury and Resources Minister and States members with independent economic advice on matters relating to tax and spending policy, and the use of the Stabilisation Fund.

Fisheries and Marine Resources Panel
The panel, now named the Fisheries and Marine Resources Panel, to reflect its wider responsibilities, still has amateur as well as professional members. These include representatives from the boat owning communities on the north and south coasts, the chairman of the Jersey Aquaculture Association, the president of the Jersey Federation of Sea Anglers as well as commercial fishermen from the Jersey Fisherman’s Association.

The Jersey Architecture Commission is an advisory group set up to provide independent, non statutory, expert advice and guidance on major and sensitive developments in Jersey. The Commission works with the Planning and Environment Department and with agents and developers to promote and support the highest possible standards of design in the built environment.

Prescribing Analysis and Cost Trends user group (PACT)
A group consisting of general practitioners, pharmacists and government representatives responsible for the promotion of the best use of financial resources available for primary healthcare, and the use of PACT data to inform prescribing by primary healthcare professionals.

Ramsar Management Authority
The Planning and Environment Department is to set up a Ramsar Management Authority as part of its ongoing commitment to ensure the wise use of Jersey’s four internationally important wetland areas.

Social Security Advisory Council
An independent voluntary body advising the Minister for Social Security on social security issues and independently reviewing current practice as well as new or anticipated changes in benefits or legislation.

The panel offers grant assistance to public and voluntary sector projects in the tourism sector. Projects are selected on a range of criteria and must ensure the tourism experience offers quality, variety and value for money which supports the Jersey brand.
