Summary

​​The Jersey Economic Trends 2013 booklet brings together a wide range of statistics relating to the Island's economy which have been published by the Statistics Unit during 2013. This edition presents annual data up to 2012 and quarterly series up to the third quarter of 2013.
 
Information that features in the booklet includes:
  • economic indicators - Gross National Income (GNI) and Gross Value Added (GVA), as well as finance sector profits and value and volume of retail sales
  • employment in Jersey - employment by sector and unemployment
  • prices and earnings - trends in the Retail Prices Index (RPI), House Price Index (HPI) and the Index of Average Earnings
