The States of Jersey commissioned KEMA (a global company specialising in energy consultation) to produce an energy efficiency report to assist in establishing the States of Jersey’s energy policy. This energy efficiency investigation breaks down into 3 main areas: 

• improving domestic energy efficiency
• role of micro generation
• recommending a working framework to deliver energy efficiency improvements

The report concludes by calling for a new body to raise the awareness of energy saving measures and to co-ordinate the delivery of both the energy efficiency and micro generation programmes.
