Summary
The Landscape Sensitivity Assessment study was commissioned by the Government of Jersey in January 2020 and carried out by Fiona Fyfe Associates in February and March 2020. The same team which worked on the Jersey Integrated Landscape and Seascape Character Assessment (ILSCA).
The approach taken in this strategic study is in line with the current best practice guidance on landscape sensitivity assessment (An Approach to Landscape Sensitivity Assessment – to inform spatial planning and land management, Natural England, 2019), and also takes into account the particular circumstances, and landscape and seascape context, of the island of Jersey.
