The Independent School Funding Review – published in 2021, recommended a range of measures to improve educational outcomes and experience for children and young people in Jersey. Among these was developing a "radically simpler funding formula, so all schools and colleges have transparent and equitable budgets, and the funding system is flexible for the future."

This report outlines the previous formula used to identify the quantum of funding to schools, outlines changes to the formula made for 2022, and identifies ongoing work.
