Summary
This report describes the findings from analysing responses to the 2021 Census question “How is your health in general?”, to understand the set of characteristics, for example age, ethnicity, household type and employment status, most associated with people in Jersey reporting poor health. The report also demonstrates how census data can be used to build a statistical model that indicates the probability of poor health based on various characteristics, and finally the analysis shows which characteristics were associated with a higher probability of poor health.
