This report presents the updated annual statistics on terminations of pregnancy (also referred to as TOP or induced abortion) in Jersey. These are compiled from the mandatory notifications sent to the Medical Officer of Health for each termination of pregnancy conducted on Jersey (under the Termination of Pregnancy (Jersey) Law 1997).

The report shows numbers and rates of terminations, with trends over time. It also shows the terminations by age of woman, gestation period, method of termination and number of previous terminations.
