Summary
In 2011, the States adopted amendments to the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002 to provide the public with more choices in how to vote at election time, and to remove obstacles which might have stood in the way of an elector voting.
Prior to the 2011 elections, a voter registration and turnout advertising campaign was initiated which included the use of a dedicated website, social media and a television advert. This report explores how the campaign was conducted, how successful it was and provides comments and recommendations for the 2014 elections.
