Public Inquiry
The Minister for the Environment resolved on 17th July 2017 that a Public Inquiry is to be held into the outline planning application submitted for the construction of a new hospital with associated landscaping, highways and infrastructure works, including the addition of 2 No. half-decks of parking to Patriotic Street carpark, following the demolition of the Stafford Hotel, Revere Hotel, 33-40 and 44 Kensington Place, including Sutherland Court, and parts of General Hospital (application reference PP/2017/0990)
The Inquiry was held in accordance with the Planning and Building (Public Inquiries) (Jersey) Order 2008 (Amended 2015).

The inquiry opened on Monday 6 November and formally closed on Friday 10 November.
Representations were heard and considered by Mr Philip Staddon BSc, Dip MBA (Distinction) MRTPI, the independent Inspector appointed to hold the Inquiry. The Inspector will now prepare his report, which will be submitted to the Minister before the New Year.
