​​Autumn Booster 2024

In line with the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), islanders eligible for a booster vaccination this autumn are:

  • residents in a care home for older adults
  • all adults aged 65 years and over
  • persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book
  • health and social care workers
  • staff working in care homes for older adults

The Covid-19 Autumn Booster programme has been aligned with the start of the Flu vaccination programme, with both available from 7 October 2024. The last date to obtain a COVID-19 Autumn Booster vaccine in the island is Friday 31 January 2025.​

Check with your GP for the planned start and end dates of their campaign.
