About PIP
We support parents who struggle to relate to, or have any positive feelings about, their babies. The aims of our service is to:
- meet the immediate presenting problems in the infant (feeding, sleeping issues)
- help the parent and child feel more positively about themselves and their interaction
- support the child to learn how to regulate their emotions through the relationship with there parent or guardian
Our service is for parents who have babies up to the age of 5, and parents who are expecting a baby. We address questions, worries and concerns focusing on the interaction between parent and child. We build on your strengths while recognising the challenges you may have.
