Infrastructure and Environment has advertising banner sites available in St Helier.
These banner sites are only for charitable or non-profit making organisations.
Banner sites
Railing banners
There are three sites available:
- Steam clock
- La Route de la Liberation
- Les Jardins car park, on the wooden fencing
You can only book one site for two weeks per event.
Banners are not allowed to be displayed more than 28 days prior to the event.
If we need to remove your banner, you can collect it from La Collette Depot. We shall keep it for 3 months and then dispose of it.
Railing banner rules
Raised banners
We have raised banners sites available in St Helier.
You can book the following locations from February to October:
- Clinton Cards to Mountain Warehouse, King Street
- Jojo Maman Bebe to Mark and Spencer, King Street
- WH Smith to 99 Cafe, King Street
- JT to UCS, Queen Street
- Market to Jacks, Halkett Place
- Kerching to Travel Solutions, Bath Street
You also need to get permission from the owners of the premises before you put your banner up.
You must make sure you have suitable insurance cover. The Minister for Infrastructure will not accept responsibility for any injury or damage.

Lamp posts
You can book lamp posts for your event on:
- Victoria Avenue
- Esplanade
- La Route de la Libération
These are only available for charitable or non profit making organisations.
Island wide posters are not allowed on:
- public lamp posts
- traffic light poles
- traffic information poles
- warning sign poles
- pedestrian barriers
If you put up posters without permission you will asked to remove them.
