During the last week of August a series of interview surveys will be carried out at car parks in St Helier. This research is being undertaken in support of the Sustainable Transport Policy being developed by Transport and Technical Services (TTS).
TTS is asking the public to just spare a few minutes to answer questions that will help them judge the likely success of the various alternatives to car use which are available to people in Jersey, and to discover what may make people consider alternatives.
All the questions which will be asked have been carefully structured, so that no information can be traced to an individual person and the survey should take less than five minutes to complete.
Caroline Anderson, Transport Director for TTS is asking for the public’s co-operation, she said, “If you are stopped by one of the researchers, please agree to answer their questions, so that your views can be incorporated into this policy for the future of transport in Jersey”
