New summer flight announced

Jet2.com has resumed its direct services to Leeds and Belfast from Jersey and will start flights to new destination, Blackpool, on Saturday 28 May.

Summer flights between Jersey and Leeds began on Saturday 22 May. Flights operate 4 times a week throughout the season until 30 October 2010. Flights from Jersey to Belfast have also now begun, operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays until the end of September. The new route to Blackpool will operate on Fridays and Mondays until the end of September.  

Speaking about the route launch, Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com, said “As a result of the success of our routes from Jersey to Leeds and Belfast in 2009, we are delighted to introduce a third service from Jersey to Blackpool. As well as bringing more visitors to Jersey, the area in and around Blackpool is great for a weekend break.”
