The Jersey Economic Trends 2012 booklet has been published by the States of Jersey Statistics Unit.
The latest edition contains new sections which provide further analysis of Jersey's economic performance, measured by Gross Value Added (GVA):
- GVA per capita - an indicator of the standard of living of residents in the Island
- GVA for each sub-sector of the finance industry from 2000 to 2011
- GVA per full-time equivalent employee for each sub-sector of finance (a proxy measure of productivity)
Other information that features in the booklet includes:
- economic indicators - Gross National Income (GNI) and Gross Value Added (GVA), as well as finance sector profits and value and volume of retail sales
- employment in Jersey - employment by sector and unemployment
- prices and earnings - trends in the Retail Prices Index (RPI), House Price Index (HPI) and the Index of average earnings
