Jersey’s Better Life Index provides a measure of the Island’s overall wellbeing and performance on social, environmental and economic indicators, reflecting what people think about the state of their own lives and what is important to them.
Jersey’s Better Life Index allows comparison of the Island’s wellbeing with that of other jurisdictions and allows for the monitoring of factors which influence societal progress as well as providing information for policy making.
OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) methodology is used to calculate Jersey’s Better Life Index, allowing for comparisons of Jersey with 36 OECD countries.
