Planning and building officers from the Department of the Environment will be seeking public feedback on the future of St Helier, and giving free home improvement advice at three events this summer.
In the latest in a series of events to mark the 50th anniversary of the introduction of a comprehensive planning and building law in Jersey, the Department of the Environment will be in the community offering free guidance on home improvements and alterations, including when and how to apply for permission if necessary. Officers will also be asking people their views on the Council of Ministers’ strategic priority project, Future St Helier.
Consultation still open
Recent free advice and feedback sessions at the Fête de St Helier and Don Street attracted hundreds of responses on the street and online. The consultation is still open and you can vote online for your top priority see the results so far.
