Stopford Road (just before its junction with St Saviour’s Road) will be resurfaced by Transport and Technical Services during half term, starting on 14 February.
The road surface is worn in this stretch of road and this has reduced its skid resistance. Work will also be done to reshape the road to further improve safety.
The section of Stopford Road between its junctions with La Rue Le Masurier and St Saviour’s Road, where the resurfacing is being carried out, will have to be closed during working hours, which are:
- Saturday 14 February between 9am – 1pm
- Monday 16 February – Fri 20 February between 9am – 4pm
- Saturday 21 February between 9am – 1pm
Diversions will be signposted via Stopford Road to the west, David Place, St Mark’s Road Janvrin Road and Springfield Road. Bus routes 13, 21 and 23 will follow the diversion routes, but one stop opposite Hotel de France has to be suspended during the work.
