Essential road and pavement repairs in the Rue des Pres Trading Estate begin on Monday 16 February 2015.
The project will be undertaken in six phases with access to businesses maintained at all times. The first phase starts at the junction of La Rue Grellier and La Rue Sinnatt and will last for approximately two weeks.
Work will take place from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. During this time a full road closure is needed and diversions will be sign posted but access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists as well as businesses.
This essential work will include taking up the existing tree stumps and repairing the damaged areas caused by the trees' roots, minor kerb realignment and pavement and road repairs. The whole project will take 17 weeks to complete.
