Fort Regent will be hosting the Jersey Symphony Orchestra “Russian Romantics” concert on the 8th April and tickets are now available online.
In 2017, Fort Regent decided to move to Eventbrite as their previous ticketing system could not manage demand for the most popular events, and was costly to maintain. Eventbrite is an easy to use, online ticketing system that is widely used for many Island events. It has proved popular with the majority of Fort Regent clients and has improved the customer experience for most people using it.
Many Jersey Symphony Orchestra supporters have, in the past, chosen to buy their tickets face to face at Fort Regent, or over the telephone. Their tickets would then have been sent to them or made available to collect on the night.
These two options are no longer available, however the Fort Regent Centre Manager, Jo Mousdale, said: “We want to reassure customers without access to the internet and without an email address that they can still buy tickets for events at Fort Regent. Customers who would prefer to buy paper tickets can visit the centre up to a day before the event, and the Customer Services team will serve them.
“There is very limited resource available on the night of the event, so please do not leave it until then. The box office closes 30 minutes before the start of the show. The quickest, and most convenient way to buy tickets is online, if you can.”
The Chair of the JSO Players, Alison Stewart, said: “The Russian Romantics concert is going to be a glorious feast of beautiful, passionate music. The world renowned pianist, Paolo Giacometti, will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No 3, and the audience can also look forward to Liadov’s The Enchanted Lake and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5.”
