Islanders are being invited to drop-in sessions today, Thursday 4 October, to find out more about proposed road safety improvements around St Ouen’s Village.
Details of the proposals will be on show, and officers will be on hand to answer questions and listen to comments, at the sessions which are being held at St Ouen’s Parish Hall from 11.00am to 1.00pm and 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
The Parish of St Ouen and the Department for Growth, Housing and Environment have worked together to develop the proposals to make the area safer for all users. The proposals include:
- replacing the pelican crossing with a zebra crossing
- widening the footpaths
- new access to the car park
Information is available on our Consultations Page and you can submit your comments by writing to the department by 18 October 2018.
All the feedback, and other relevant information, will be considered and a proposed scheme will then be presented to the Infrastructure Minister for approval.
