A campaign has been launched today to recruit a new Chief of Police for the Island, following the passing last year of the late, Rob Bastable.
The position is a critical leadership role in protecting the public, preventing crime and building public trust in Police services.
This role is a key strategic element of the Team Jersey approach and part of the Island’s objectives where vulnerable young people and adults are protected from harm.
Minister for Home Affairs, Constable Len Norman, commented: “The Chief of Police is a vital role at the very heart of our Island community and is integral to a building a safe future of all. I look forward to the future appointment and working closely with them in creating a just and fair society for all Islanders.”
