The Government of Jersey has today announced the appointment of three senior leadership positions in Treasury and one in the Chief Operating Office.
Three senior roles have been created to enable Treasury and Exchequer to deliver a high standard of financial advice and meet the demands of its customers.
The three employees who have been appointed on a fixed-term basis with immediate effect are:
- Steven Mair as Group Director, Performance Accounting and Reporting. As well as focusing on the accounts and shared services the role will develop the business partnering model
- Camilla Black as Group Director, Finance Transformation. The role will lead on Finance Transformation as well as include responsibilities for longer term planning and business performance and improvement
- Alison Rogers as Director, Investment Appraisal and Business Management. This role will support the whole organisation through a critical period of financial efficiency planning and delivery as part of delivering One Government
The Chief Operating Office has also today announced the appointment of Mark Grimley as its Group Director of People and Corporate Services.
Mark joins the Government from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham where he was Director of Corporate Services and Acting Director of Public Service Reform. He has ten years’ experience at director level on local government management teams as well as three and a half years in the private and voluntary sectors.
His previous senior leadership roles include Interim Strategic Director for Human Resources and Organisational Development with Manchester City Council, Corporate Director with Scope and Director of Human Resources Strategy with Capita plc. Mark joins in mid-June.
Jacquie McGeachie, interim Director of People Services and one of the original transition team, will leave the organisation at the end of May.
