The Government of Jersey has responded to a report on annual reporting by the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG).
The report focuses on the content and accessibility of the annual reports and, where available publicly, the annual accounts produced by the States of Jersey and 37 Jersey entities which either controlled by the Government or are established by the States Assembly.
Responding to the findings of the report, the Minister for Treasury and Resources, Deputy Susie Pinel, said: “I’d like to thank the C&AG for their report and we welcome her feedback in this important area of annual public reporting.
“We also appreciate her development of a Good Practice Guide, which will assist with the production of annual reports in the future.”
The Government will now consider the recommendations made in the report and will respond fully in due course.
