The following statement has been issued by the Department of Children, Young People, Education and Skills:
“We have been advised that there has been a confirmed positive case of Covid-19 of a child who attends St Luke’s School.
“Parents have been informed and the children in the class bubble are required to self-isolate.
“To protect the identity of this child and respect the family’s privacy we are unable to comment any further.”
