Coronavirus: advice for travellers from Tenerife

Jersey's health officials have issued advice for any Islanders returning from Tenerife, who may have stayed at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace Hotel:

anyone who has returned from staying at the hotel in Tenerife affected by Coronavirus is being asked to self-isolate for 14 days from the date they left Tenerife, whether or not they have symptoms of Coronavirus
anyone who has returned from the affected hotel in Tenerife and has symptoms of Coronavirus is asked to self-isolate for 14 days from the date they left Tenerife, and to call the helpline on 01534 445566 for medical advice
anyone who has been in contact with guests who have no symptoms after staying at the affected hotel, needs to take no action
anyone who has been in contact with guests who do have symptoms after staying at the affected hotel, should call the helpline for advice

Anyone who has visited Tenerife – but not the affected hotel – need take no action.

Health officials are working to identify the people who have just returned from Tenerife to pass on this advice.

The helpline (+44 1534 445566) is the first point of contact for anyone who thinks they may have symptoms of Coronavirus.
