Schools COVID-19 update

“A student who attends Victoria College has tested positive for Covid-19 (Sunday, 8 November 2020).

 

“Victoria College has informed parents, and the year group involved has been asked to remain at home today (Monday, 9 November) as a precautionary measure to allow the testing process to be completed.  

“A student who attends De La Salle College primary school has tested positive for Covid-19 (Monday, 9 November). All parents of students in this year group are being asked to collect their child from school this afternoon and to remain at home isolating following public health advice. 

“Students will continue their education from home, through online learning,  while in isolation. 

“The schools and colleges will remain open following advice from Environmental and Public Health.

 

“To protect the identity of the students and respect the family’s privacy, we will not be commenting further.”
